In what has become an annual holiday tradition in Middlebury, the Midd-Vermont Train Club’s elaborate electric train layout is sure to delight all ages. Over the years, the assemblage has grown and stands 3 levels high, with tracks running Lionel O gauge trains, Lionel 027 gauge trains and an upper track running HO trains. The backdrop of the green mountains painted by local artist Gayl Braisted adds atmosphere. New this year is an automatic gateman and the billboard is back! Don’t miss the Mickey Mouse box car, Cabot Cheese car and 1948 Santa Fe passenger train. The trains will run December 3 through January 3, 2015. Holiday Museum hours: Tues.-Sat. 10 am-5 pm and Sundays, December 7, 14, 21 & 28, 12-4 pm. The trains will run December 2, 2014 through January 3, 2015.
