The Vergennes Opera House Cabaret Series returns with a brand new offering from the always delightful Bill Carmichael, singing the songs of George and Ira Gershwin. Bill is a Broadway veteran who brings his warm, melodic voice to an evening of songs from two of the great composers of the 20^th century.  After creating his previous cabarets with Fort Salem (NY) Theater’s artistic director, Jay Kerr, the pair have collaborated once again to with an original show that explores the jazz age offerings and political satire of this incomparable musical theater duo, including such favorites as Embraceable You, I Got Rhythm, Our Love is Here to Stay, and Foggy Day. A cash bar and delectable desserts will also be on hand to make this the perfect evening out.
