Camping and concessionaire food is available at Branbury State Park. Free camping is available at Silver Lake Campground in the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area.

National Trails Day

Description

 A public event honoring National Trails Day (NTD), a long-standing celebration of America's magnificent trail system and its countless supporters and volunteers. The NTD is celebrated annually in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. The free public celebration will be hosted at Branbury State Park and organized by the U.S. Forest Service, Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation, Vermont Mountain Bike Association, and the Moosalamoo Association. The event will feature free ice cream, face painting, a guided day-hike, a guided bike ride and some interpretation / education components – Smokey Bear is also expected to be on hand.
