Description
Survival Orienteering:
This course includes a series of hands-on outdoor living skills including Leave No Trace philosophy of wilderness travel, planning, fire building, land navigation: map & compass (what if GPS doesn't work), wilderness preparedness and safety, as well as group dynamics and cooperation. Afternoon activities involve a worst-case scenario emergency simulation, where group members work together to accomplish real-time goals to be "found".
