The Imaginary Invalid

Date: April 12, 2012 - April 14, 2012
Event Description Suffering from tuberculosis, and not far behind his recently deceased wife and infant son, Molière begins writing what will be his final play: The Imaginary Invalid. Based on the ensemble work of Jacques Lecoq, this new production is an exploration of the tragedy of Molière’s final hours, the comedy of his very last oeuvre, and the ironic parallel of two realities that crash together in an explosion of macaronic Latin, disease, love, lazzi, and death. Directed and adapted by Jay Dunn ’00.5. Sponsored by the Theatre Program. Tickets: $12/10/6; on sale March 19 Go to the Box Office>>
