Job Description
Teaching Assistant 0.5 FTE AM section 8-11 am
The successful candidate must have a high school diploma. Associate's degree preferred.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Works with individual/small/large groups of students to reinforce instruction and support student learning.
- Supports program instructors in curriculum development, differentiated learning delivery, and other clerical duties as assigned.
- Implements curriculum materials under the supervision of a program instructor.
- Assists with general classroom behavior management procedures.
- Utilizes appropriate building systems for communicating questions and/or concerns.
- Supports classroom safety procedures and practices
- Sensitive to the need for confidentiality in dealing with student/school matters.
- Assumes the role of technical instructor when the regular instructor is not available (substitute).
The salary range for this position if $15.91--$33.27 per hour, depending on experience. Please refer to the
Staff Collective Bargaining Agreement on the website (under School Board) for the full salary schedule.
