ESS Test Technician I - 1st Shift (onsite)

Compensation

• $2,500 sign on bonus*
• Eligible for Annual Increases

• The salary range for this role is $34,653 USD to $60,592 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

1st Shift Schedule

• This position is for 1st shift 
• Schedule can be Tues-Sat 8 hour shift or Weds-Sat 10 hour shift
• Overtime available on a business need basis.  

What You Will Do

• Set up and operating various test stands
• Configure test equipment for special tests as needed
• Interpret and record test results
• Recognize and isolate test equipment failures
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level
• Read and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics
• Effectively communicate work status to team members and support staff (e.g. shift pass down, engineering, maintenance)
• Understand theory of electronic circuitry and electrical components
• Read and interpret technical data
• Have computer skills and knowledge of office software applications
• Occasionally need to provide weekend and holiday support to meet customer needs.
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline
