about us

Rokeby Museum will open its powerful new exhibit - Free and Safe: The Underground Railroad in Vermont - in May 2013. Housed in the Museum's new Education Center, the exhibit follows the stories of Simon and Jesse, two fugitives from slavery sheltered at Rokeby in the 1830s. The site also includes a fully furnished house, historic farm buildings, hiking trails and picnic tables. Call (802-877-3406) or e-mail (rokeby@comcast.net) for more information.
