Situated on 1200 acres The Swallow's Nest is the perfect place for an overnight stay, weekend getaway, or extended vacation.  It is surrounded by 50 acres of meadows and offers exceptional views of the Green Mountains and Vermont countryside.  Being only 1.5 miles from the village center allows easy access to historic Brandon's many shops, restaurants, and galleries.  'The Nest' is also only 15 miles from Middlebury and approximately 25 miles from Killington, Pico, Breadloaf and Middlebury College Snow Bowl.  It is the ideal home base for any getaway, whether it be skiing, 'leaf-peeping', hiking, shopping, or simply enjoying the natural beauty of Vermont.

Inside 'The Nest' you will find a full-size, custom, cherry kitchen with new range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker.  The kitchen provides a perfect place to fix meals for yourselves, if you decide not to dine at one of the areas fine restaurants.  The large full bath has a tiled floor, custom cherry vanity and cabinets, and complete laundry facilities.  Upstairs you will find one spacious private bedroom with a double bed and a sleeping loft with two twin beds.  There is also an Ethan Allen double pull-out sofa downstairs, providing accommodations for up to six.  Plush linens are included and maid service is available.  Special gifts and homey touches will make your stay at The Nest one to remember.

In 2011 we began offering our stunning corner of Vermont countryside as a location for weddings and receptions. The setting is perfect, whether your taste is elegant and refined or casual and country. Our 1200 acre property offers privacy, endless green grass and gorgeous mountain views, which all add to the perfection of your special day. Our guest house provides the ideal place for your wedding party to prepare themselves for the big day. It may also be used by caterers for food service and is, of course, the perfect honeymoon cottage. In the future we hope to have a four-season wedding facility, but for now we can offer you a soft blank canvas (from spring through fall) on which to paint your Vermont wedding masterpiece.
