About Us

Young Forest Homes LLC was created in 2020 to address our community’s housing challenges by developing ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units), multi unit housing, and new homes priced for Vermont families.

Started by Tim Cook and his sons, Malcolm and Alder, Young Forest Homes continues to be a family oriented business. Many of our projects assist families with adding multi-generational housing to existing homes. Kitchen and bathroom remodels and outdoor spaces are also predominant in our portfolio, as we complete all of our tile, post & beam framing, and built-in cabinets in-house. Being lifelong tradespeople, we love a design/ construction solution to a unique situation, such as converting a drafty barn into an efficient dwelling or designing a cabinet with multiple uses that fit a unique space. Our style leans toward modern aesthetics with traditional craftsmen style highlights. This reflects our goal of helping build a thriving, sustainable community. We are growth-oriented as the need for new homes in our community is so great.
