This May, Town Hall Theater invites audiences to explore the power of words through three exceptional literary events, presented in partnership with leading authors, poets, and the Vermont Book Shop. From poetry and memoir to fiction and art history, these evenings offer rich opportunities for conversation, reflection, and discovery.

Current Vermont Poet Laureate Bianca Stone leads an illuminating evening dedicated to the work of her grandmother, acclaimed poet Ruth Stone, who served as Vermont Poet Laureate from 2007 to 2011. Through readings, insights, and discussion, Bianca will guide audiences deep into Ruth Stone's poetry, exploring how poems connect us to landscape, memory, community, and one another.

This intimate event is part of an ongoing lecture series celebrating the enduring importance of poetry and poets in Vermont's cultural life. Admission is offered on a pay-as-you-can basis, making this enriching experience accessible to all.
