John Orvis grew up in Ferrisburgh steeped in a shared Quaker faith and abolitionist fervor with his neighbors, the Robinsons. Through letters, artifacts and works of art discover John and Marianne Orvis’ life of activism and social reform. This Conversations in History presentation is led by long-standing Vermonter Clark Hinsdale III.
