Long-Term Substitute: Elementary Physical Education

Vergennes Union Elementary School is seeking Long-Term Substitutes for Physical Education from November 10, 2026 through February 2, 2027.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Social emotional needs of students including implementation of PBIS and Responsive Classroom Strategies
• Developmental needs of students within a rigorous classroom setting
• Evidence based instructional approaches
• Multi-Tiered System of Supports and use of data to inform instruction
• Use of formative and summative assessments within a proficiency-based reporting system
• Collaboration within a team structure
• Experience working with early elementary students preferred, but not required

• At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
