The Shelter Manager is a member of the administrative leadership team and is responsible for the efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of the animal shelter, including intake and adoption center initiatives related to the shelter’s mission. The position includes administrative and supervisory duties in addition to budget oversight of shelter operations.
A combination of relevant education/certification and experience will be considered. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, non-profit management, and/or animal science, with 2-years experience; or Associate’s degree with at least 4-years of managerial experience preferably in an animal shelter, veterinary clinic, or similar environment.

REPORTS TO: Executive Director
JOB CATEGORY: Full-Time, EXEMPT
PAYBAND: $50,000 - $65,000 annual salary depending on experience.
